The White Hall Willing Workers Extension Homemaker’s Club chose the White Hall Food Pantry as their main community service project for the year. The project runs from July 2025 through July 2026.
The club collects different food items each month at their meetings for the pantry and voted in November to give a financial donation to them in December, according to a news release.
At the December Christmas Meeting, Willing Workers also raffled off chances to win a homemade afghan, with all proceeds going to the food pantry. Cheri Aronowitz, a member who has moved to Little Rock, was able to attend the meeting along with her husband and son, and she won the afghan.
Members also played the left right game, with the winner having the option to keep or donate money to the food pantry. The money was also donated to the food pantry.
President Sarah Payton, Treasurer Marnette Reed and Club Community Service Representative Jo Ann Carr delivered the December food items and financial donations to Susan Wolff at the food pantry on Dec. 12.
