The Cleveland County Extension Homemakers Council will sponsor “April Showers” from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. April 21 at Rison United Methodist Church.
This event will provide ideas for recipes and decorating for both baby and bridal showers.
Guest speakers, Wanda Ashcraft and Julia Lephiew, will demonstrate beautiful and creative ideas for your next gift shower. Participants will receive a cookbook of recommended recipes for shower foods and beverages. Extension Homemakers Club members will demonstrate selected recipes from the cookbook. Delicious recipes will also be available for tasting. Door prizes will also be given.
The registration fee for this event is $10 and can be paid at the door. Seating is limited and pre-registration is recommended. To pre-register, contact the Extension office at 870-325-6321.
