Clergy For Community is asking the public to join them for a prayer session and informational rally against the proposed Stand Your Ground initiatives planned in Arkansas.
The rally will be held Saturday, May 10, at 9 a.m. at the steps of the Jefferson County Courthouse.
“Clergy For Community will take a stand for preservation of life and against the Stand Your Ground Initiatives in our state,” a spokesman said. “This law in other regions has allowed many murderers to go free, victimized numerous minorities and has left citizens to believe these acts are justified.”
