Circuit Judge Jodi Raines Dennis is seeking reelection as judge for the Fifth Division of the 11th West Judicial District in Jefferson and Lincoln counties.
Dennis has served as a circuit judge since 2004.
“For 21 years, I have conducted myself and my courtroom in a respectful manner and provided fair and impartial justice for everyone,” she said in a news release. “My caseload consists of criminal and civil cases.”
Additionally, Dennis is assigned all of Jefferson and Lincoln counties’ Department of Correction criminal cases and post-conviction inmate filings.
“I have called Pine Bluff my home for 42 years. I am a member of the Arkansas Judicial Council, the Jefferson County Bar Association, and the Arkansas Bar Association,” she said.
The filing period for candidates begins Nov. 3. The primary election is March 3.
