ST. ANDREW MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH, 5810 W. Malcomb St., will host an Appreciation Program for the associate pastor and wife, the Rev. A. Dale Watkins Sr. and Sonya Watkins, at 11 a.m. Sunday. The Rev. Darryl Golden of Union Missionary Baptist Church in Hot Springs will be the guest preacher. The Rev. Richard Hart is St. Andrew’s pastor.

TRUE VINE E MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH, 1001 W. Second Ave., will celebrate its Men’s and Women’s Day at 3 p.m. Sunday. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Stanley Blair Sr., pastor of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Moscow.

BREATH OF LIFE CHURCH will hold its monthly Youth Services during the 10:30 a.m. worship service Sunday. The guest minister will be LaShunda Jackson. A licensed and ordained minister, Jackson, also specializes in serving students on the autism spectrum. Alongside her husband, Donney Jackson, she is a business owner. She holds a master’s degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Central Arkansas and works as the speech, language pathologist for Dumas School District. She is a member of New Relationship Christian Center Church in Monticello and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.

NEW COMMUNITY CHURCH, 321 N. Birch St., will host Garrielle Stephens, a member of New Community, as the featured speaker during the Kingdom Builders program at 6 p.m. Sunday.

PLEASANT VIEW MINISTRIES CHURCH, 1117 N. Palm St., will commemorate the 39th Pastoral Anniversary of the Rev. William A. Shaw Jr. at 11 a.m. Sept. 28. This service will include special guests, tributes and music. “Celebrate 39 years of faith, love and leadership with us,” a spokesman said. Those unable to attend but desire to be a blessing to the pastor may send an offering to Shaw’s Cash App at $SHAWWA, according to Stuff in The Bluff.com.

UNION HOPEWELL MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH, 1121 S. Persimmon St., will celebrate its Family and Friends Day at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 28. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Keith Higgins, pastor of First Missionary Baptist Church in West Memphis, accompanied by his congregation.

OLD ST. JAMES MISS IONARY BAPTIST CHURCH, 4512 S. Ohio St., will present nationally known Gospel singer Vickie Winans as the special guest artist during the Women’s Conference on Saturday. Winans will appear as the closing speaker and guest artist. Registration starts at 8 a.m. The conference begins at 9 a.m. with opening speaker Latonya Scott of Old St. James followed by classes taught by Bishop Shirley Sanders, Yolanda Campbell and Cassandra Shaw. The Rev. Danita Waller Paige is the worship leader. The registration is $65 and includes the program, a bag, continental breakfast, a souvenir, lunch, door prizes and conference T-shirt. WATKIN CHAPEL MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH, 800 S. Juniper St., will celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the pastor and wife, the Rev. Kenneth E. Jones Sr. and Debra A. Jones, at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 5. The guest preacher will be the Rev. Willie J. Laws Sr., pastor of Union Baptist Church in Altheimer.

NEW UNITED MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH, 5601 Cheatham St., will observe its 50th Anniversary at 11 a.m. Oct. 12. The pastor is the Rev. Woodrow Jackson Sr.

CANAAN CHRISTIAN CENTER, 7890 Middle Warren Road, will host the 23rd pastoral anniversary of the apostle, Craig Banks, and pastor, Sheryl Banks. At 4 p.m. Oct. 18, special guests will be speakers John Delaware, apostle at Royal Priesthood Ministries of Little Rock; and Victor Johnson, apostle at Victors’ Empowerment Center of Stuttgart; musical guests Marquis Hunt, saxophonist, and Keenon Coleman, psalmist. At 10 a.m. Oct. 19, the musical guest will be Zetoria Curry, a psalmist. Tributes will also be made to the honorees.
