ST. PETER’S ROCK MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH, 1201 S. Catalpa St., will host the Prayer and Pizza gathering for children from 2-3 p.m. Sunday. The guest speaker will be Faydra Handie, a Heart Corps service member and assistant family life pastor at Full Counsel Church-Pine Bluff. NAACP President Ivan Whitfield will give an update on voter registration, according to a news release. The Prayer and Pizza service allows people to pray for and encourage children. THE CITYWIDE MISSION MEETING will be held at at 1 p.m. Monday at Pine Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 2101 Reeker St., where the Rev. Glenn Barnes Sr. is pastor. The guest speaker will be Carol Key of Mulberry Grove Missionary Baptist Church of Altheimer. The outreach project for the month will be collecting peanut butter and cake mixes for agencies to give to the needy, a spokesman said.
