TRUE VINE “E” MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH, 1001 W. Second Ave., will observe its 20th Anniversary at 3 p.m. Sunday. The theme is Celebrating Our Faithful Journey (Psalm 100:5). The guest speaker will be the Rev. Robert Thomas Sr., pastor of Christian Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Leon Williams Jr. is pastor of True Vine “E”.

ST. JAMES UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 900 N. University Drive, invites the community to its Women’s Day Celebration at 3 p.m. Sunday. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Lanette Frazier, senior pastor of St. Luke AME Church. The theme is “Women Walking in the Spirit — Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.” (Galatians 5:25 NIV). Musical guests will be Women United For Christ with Bessie Lancelin, directress. Choir rehearsal will be Friday at 6:30 p.m. at St. James. The Rev. Danita Waller Paige is senior pastor at St. James.

NEW JERUSALEM BAPTIST CHURCH, 1317 S. Texas St., will celebrate Men’s Day on Sunday. The 11 a.m. speaker will be the Rev. M. Kriston Wilson, pastor of New Jerusalem. The 2 p.m. speaker will be the Rev. Larry C. Battles, pastor of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church. The guest choirs will be Mt. Nebo Male Choir and Men In Black. Everyone’s invited attend.

ST. JOHN AME CHURCH, 1117 W. Pullen St., will host its annual Pew Rally at 3 p.m. Sunday. The Pew Rally is a call to unity and revival, a call for the body of Christ to come together in fellowship, worship, and spiritual renewal. The special guests will be Elder Aaron Withers, pastor of First Trinity Church of God in Christ, along with his congregation. Withers is a graduate of Philander Smith College (now University) and is pursuing a Master of Divinity degree at Memphis Theological Seminary. ST. JOHN AME CHURCH, 1117 W. Pullen St., invites the community to its “Shifting the Atmosphere: Fresh Start Women’s Retreat” Friday at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday at 9 a.m. “The women’s retreat is designed for women of all ages, including youth, creating space for inter-generational fellowship, growth, and spiritual renewal,” according to a news release. A youth workshop entitled “Set Apart and Slaying” will speak directly to girls and teens, encouraging them to confidently live holy, bold, and unapologetic lives. Adult participants will engage in workshops focused on: Commitment – Deepening devotion to God and purpose; Collaboration – Building healthy, faith-filled relationships; and Conquering Self – Overcoming internal barriers to growth. NEW HOPE MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH in Moscow will host its Building Fund Program at 2 p.m. March 15. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Donald Manning, pastor of Thomas Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.

MT. MORIAH MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH of Gould will host its spring revival March 16-18 at 7 p.m. Guest ministers will be the Rev. Stanley Blair of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Moscow, speaking March 16; Apostle Patrick Lockett, pastor of New Community Church in Pine Bluff, speaking March 17; and the Rev. Ronald Neal of New Bethel Ministries in Winchester, speaking March 18. The theme will be “Renew, Restore, Revive” (Isaiah 57:15). The Rev. Phillip Puckett, pastor of Mt. Moriah, is the host pastor. The public is invited to attend.

CANAAN CHRISTIAN CENTER, 7890 Middle Warren Road, will host the 2026 Women’s Empowerment Conference presented by host pastor Sheryl Banks. The sessions will be 7 p.m. April 10 for men and women and 9 a.m. to noon April 11 for women. Guest speakers will include Jessica Yarbrough, Sheilar Hatton-Bone, and Roslyn Burks-Adams. Psalmists will be Michelle Johnson and Zetoria Curry. Registration for the Saturday luncheon is $40 and payable by cashapp at $SherylLBanks1.
