BREATH OF LIFE Church, 1313 S. Pine St., will hold its monthly youth services at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. The speaker will be Taniyah Bailey, 17, a senior at Marion Senior High School. She created Protecting My Mental Health, a teen health journal aimed at aiding individuals worldwide in navigating mental health challenges. Bailey is a member member of the National Honor Society, Spanish club and Educator Rising. She has completed programs such as Congress of Future Medical Leaders, Senator John Boozman’s Youth Congressional Cabinet and Harvard Future Doctors Program. She was accepted into the New York Institute of Technology’s Project Share medical program. She is a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in West Memphis, where Keith Higgins is the pastor. She lives in Marion with her mother and brother.
FULL FAITH CHRISTIAN CENTER, 1320 E. 17th Ave., will celebrate the 31st Pastor’s Appreciation honoring the apostle, Isaac Barron, and pastor, JoAnn Barron. The service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday. The guest speaker will be the Rev. James Barnes of New St. James Baptist Church in Pine Bluff.

THE 2024 TURNER FAMILY Reunion Worship Service will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday at the Mt. Pleasant AME Church, 1201 N. Magnolia St., where the Rev. R.W. Alexander Sr. is the pastor. The guest preacher is the Rev. Cornelius D. Wade, the minister of evangelism for St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. Descendants of Charley and Mary Barrett Turner will participate in other reunion events today through Sunday at the John R. Fallis Waterfront Meeting Facility in Regional Park. Members of the Turner Family have lived in Jefferson County for more than 150 years, according to a spokesman.
NEW COMMUNITY CHURCH, 321 N. Birch St., will host its Kingdom Builders program at 6 p.m. Sunday. The speaker will be Sandra Hope, a member of New Community, widow of Elder James E. Hope and 37-year employee of The Commercial. The pastor/apostle is Patrick Lockett.

NEW COMMUNITY CHURCH, 321 N. Birch St., rescheduled its Women’s Day service to 2:30 p.m. July 7. The featured speaker will be Jenise Sandy Todd, a local pastor. A Women’s Day choir will sing. Choir rehearsal will be held at 6 p.m. July 2 and July 5. The original service was cancelled because of a power outage in the community June 9.
