INTERNATIONAL HOUSE OF PRAISE’S pastor and co-pastor, Willie and Carla Edwards, will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the church, 4511 Faucett Road, at 4p.m. Sunday. The guest speaker will be the Rev. S.E. Shaw, pastor of New Faith Missionary Baptist Church. International House of Praise will also host a Holy Ghost revival at 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. The guest presenters will be the prophet and wife, Leonard and Jessie Ford. The community is invited to attend.

FAMILY CHURCH, 2500 Arkansas 104, White Hall, will host the Men of Integrity breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday. The cost is free and it’s for ages 13 to 100. “Come join men from all over the county in the first weekend of 2024. Start the new year out with God in the beginning. Great food, fellowship, and teaching. Come join us,” a spokesman said on the church’s Facebook page. Details: (870) 247-3300.

ST. JOHN AME CHURCH, 1117 W. Pullen St., will give away food boxes to those in need Jan. 13 from 9 a.m. until all food has been distributed. State ID’s are required to receive one food box per family. Pickup will be in front of the church on Cherry Street. Recipients are asked to stay in their vehicles and open their trunks, according to a news release.

PRAYER AND PIZZA for children will be held from 2-3 p.m. Jan. 14 at St. Peter’s Rock Missionary Baptist Church and Feb. 11 at New Community Church. The January speaker will be Dr. Rontae Graham, general dentist at Garrett Taylor DDS at Pine Bluff. The topic will be “You can/I did.” A special motivational presentation will be offered by a high school Kappa League under the leadership of the Rev. Travis Harden, pastor of Greater Mount Calvary Baptist Church of Pine Bluff. The Prayer and Pizza group will serve pizza, sponsored by area businesses, and intercessors will pray and encourage the youth. These monthly sessions will continue at various churches. “Please join the movement through prayer for our children,” said Dee Clay, organizer. The event is free and open to the general public. Pastors and youth leaders are urged to participate.

THE ABUNDANT LIFE MINISTRY, an online ministry of White Hall, invites the community to its Let’s Talk About It Bible Study at 7 p.m. Thursdays via Zoom. The leaders are Aaron and Kae Spencer.
