TAMPA, Fla. — Arkansas football wide receiver Greg Childs will join fellow Warren and Razorback teammate Jarius Wright and linebacker Jerry Franklin in the 87th East-West Shrine Game, to be played Jan. 21 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla.
The University of Arkansas announced the selection Wednesday. The three Razorbacks will play for the East team.
Childs finished with 240 yards on 21 receptions this season, helping Arkansas go 11-2 and win the Cotton Bowl over Kansas State. Wright led the team with 1,117 yards and 12 touchdowns on 66 catches, and Franklin totaled a team-high 101 tackles.
The Shrine Game will kick off at 3 p.m. CST and be televised live on NFL Network. Representatives from all 32 NFL teams will be on hand to watch the players during their week of preparation.
