Maintenance work on Arkansas 257 will require temporary lane closures in Chicot County, according to a press release from the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department.
Alternating lanes will be closed from McMillian Corner to Arkansas 144 starting at 8 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, through March 15, weather permitting.
The maintenance work will include removing failing sections of asphalt, extending a pipe culvert and relaying sections of the road with new asphalt. Traffic will be controlled with flaggers and alternate routes should be considered during the lane closures.
