Chamber sets Aug. 6 as new Biz Expo date

The Pine Bluff Regional Chamber of Commerce has set Thursday, Aug. 6, as the tentative new date for the 2020 Business Expo. The event will begin at 7:30 a.m. with the Biz Expo Breakfast at the Pine Bluff Convention Center.

The Chamber postponed its original date, May 7, because of the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak.

“If for some reason we are still battling this unforeseen pandemic, we will look at other dates,” according to a news release.

The theme is “Business Expo 2020: Our Future in Focus” and exhibitors are encouraged to use the theme when designing their booths. Business Expo is a community event aimed at bringing together residents, business owners and entrepreneurs to support business growth in Pine Bluff, Jefferson County, and Southeast Arkansas, according to a previous release.

Thursday, Aug. 6

Business Expo Breakfast — Convention Center Banquet Hall; 7:30-9:00 a.m. Tickets are $15 each and will be available soon. Tables for eight people are $200.

Business Expo trade show — Convention Center; 9-10 a.m., VIP (exhibitors and invited guests); 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. general public admission. Admission is $5.

Booth Rates for Exhibitors — Member Rate Booth – $250; Non-Member Rate Booth – $360.
