The Arkansas Catfish Promotion Board will meet at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Agriculture Research Center on Thursday, Oct. 4.
The UAPB Aquaculture Field Day will also be held that day beginning at 8:30 a.m.
The Catfish Promotion Board event will feature the Catfish Farmers of Arkansas Luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the truck shed. The guest speaker will be Mark Cochran, vice president-agriculture of the University of Arkansas System. The welcome will be given by UAPB Chancellor Laurence B. Alexander.
The board will meet at 1 p.m. and the agenda includes research reports by the Catfish Farmers of Arkansas.
