Air Force Airman 1st Class Khalil B. Carter graduated from basic military training at the Joint Base San Antonio at Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
A 2010 graduate of Dollarway High School, Carter is the son of Cedirc B. Carter and Marchelle M. Carter, and brother of Chaya N. Carter, all of Pine Bluff.
The eight-week program included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values and physical fitness. Airmen who complete training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
