The Area Agency on Aging of Southeast Arkansas, 709 E. Eighth Ave., will host the Caregivers/Alzheimer’s Support Group meeting from 11 a.m. to noon Monday in main office conference room.
The guest speakers will be Phyllis Watkins from Alzheimer’s Arkansas and Kay Robinson from Senior Care Geriatrics Unit at Warren.
Watkins, executive director of Alzheimer’s Arkansas, will discuss the Alzheimer’s Arkansas services and Alzheimer’s Disease .
Robinson is the community director at Senior Care and will discuss the criteria of the geriatric unit.
This meeting is open to the public and recommended for caregivers, family members, and social workers or anyone who is interested in learning more about the Alzheimer’s foundation and the geriatric unit at Warren. Caregivers/Alzheimer’s Support Group meetings are held monthly.
In addition to the program, information will be available for each registered attendee and refreshments will be served.
