Arkansas Community Organizations will hold a public forum for Pine Bluff mayoral and city council candidates at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, at the Pine Bluff Convention Center.
The event is non-partisan and the moderator will be retiring circuit court Judge Berlin Jones. The organization will also hold a forum for county and judicial candidates Tuesday, Jan. 12.
ACO is a membership organization of low-income and working class households in Jefferson County. Members are concerned about jobs and wages, neighborhood safety and community development, a spokesman said.
