Camden Road Homemakers learn spa treatment tips

The Camden Road Homemakers Club learned how to create their own home spa experience at their April meeting.

The group learned that much of the same body, mind and spirit renewal that are found on spa days with mud baths, facials and body treatments can be done at home. Eating a healthy diet, learning to relax and a good skin care plan are important steps to take, the group was told.

The group learned that in order to have a pleasant home spa day, it is important that there be no phone calls, that you have your privacy and that you play soothing music for yourself. The group was told that candlelight and soothing scents help to create an atmosphere conducive to relaxation.

The group was told that they should not feel guilty for taking some time off for themselves.

The group elected officers for 2015-2016 and these include President Andrea Hartley, Vice President Nancy Sumner, Secretary Jo Segars and Treasurer Esta Kealer.
