Former Watson Chapel School District Superintendent Andrew Curry agreed to a settlement of $57,315.10, to be paid by July 15, in addition to a contribution of $32,291.18 directly to the Arkansas Teacher Retirement System toward his retirement by July 13, to avoid potential termination without cause, according to a document provided by the district under the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act. An article in Wednesday’s edition incorrectly stated the amount Curry was to be paid as well as the parameters of his possible termination.
