Business incubator to host free workshop for entrepreneurs

“Can Customers Find You Online?” will be offered from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 2:30 p.m. Sept. 25 at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Business Support Incubator, 615 S. Main St.

The event will show Jefferson County entrepreneurs and small businesses steps for claiming and enhancing their free online business listings online.

Even businesses that do not have their own websites can utilize free listings so customers can easily find them online. Due to limited seating, advance registration is required. To reserve a seat, call 575-8030 and specify whether you will attend the morning or afternoon session.

The program is presented by the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and the University of Arkansas at Monticello, in cooperation with the UAPB Economic Research and Development Center. It is funded, in part, through a grant from the U.S. Small Business Administration.

The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center program is a partnership of the SBA and the UALR College of Business and other institutions of higher education. Details: Call Wanda Jeter at 575-8030 or jeterw@uapb.edu
