LITTLE ROCK — White Hall was driving for the go-ahead lead against Little Rock Christian with 5:45 left before halftime when play was suspended due to inclement weather Friday night.
Little Rock Christian led 7-6 when play was stopped. The game will not completed.
Early in the second quarter, Terrance Warren completed at 31-yard touchdown strike to Percy Arnold on third-and-9 to pull White Hall within a point, but the Bulldogs bobbled the snap.
White Hall got the ball back after blocking a punt but turned the ball over on downs. White Hall’s Quinton Winston then picked off a pass and returned it 27 yards to the 18, starting the Bulldogs’ final drive.
Little Rock Christian took a 7-0 lead in the first quarter on Jay Hedges’ 2-yard run.
“We learned we need to be better prepared and we’ll have a better week of practices this week,” White Hall coach Mike Vaughn said.
