Editor, The Commercial:
It appears the only thing prospering in this city are the churches.
Yet the millions of dollars being spent on these magnificent structures was enough money to put a new roof, doors, windows and paint on every house in the community.
Man living good on God’s word does not mean the churches should compete against one another to the point of building one block long. Especially when one’s neighbors live across the street in a deteriorating townhouse. However, preaching prosperity rather than suffering and grasping for straws to make bricks is not of God.
Perhaps, when people learn to love and clean up one’s own life one will become a better Christian. I prophesied that unless these glamorous churches invest in its declining community, they will become an anathema. For it is a bad thing when a church becomes so heavenly bound but no earthly good.

Unfortunately, in Pine Bluff we have sheep so dumb, naive and gullible before their sheperds and goats so comfortable on their way to hell.
