Repair of a bridge joint on Interstate 530 in Jefferson County will require lane closures this week, the state Highway and Transportation Department said.
Beginning at 7 a.m. Tuesday, March 24, the southbound inside lane of I-530 will be closed near the 41 mile-marker so crews can repair a bridge joint on a structure that is about one-half-mile north of the Hazel Street exit (Exit 42).
The lane closure will remain in place around the clock until the evening of Thursday, March 26, and will alternate between the inside and outside lanes as necessary. One lane will remain open at all times while work is being performed.
Drivers should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones. Details: IDriveArkansas.com or ArkansasHighways.com
