A routine inspection of the U.S. 82 Bridge over the Mississippi River requires temporary lane closures, according to an Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) news release.
Mississippi Department of Transportation crews will close the eastbound and westbound outside lanes and shoulders on U.S. 82 daily from 8 a.m. through 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, through Friday, Oct. 19, weather permitting, according to the release.
Traffic will be controlled with signage and traffic barrels. Drivers should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
