A boxer, ministers and activists for human and civil rights will host a rally to address issues.
“We want to help end the violence, the black-on-black crime, the police killings…,” Leander Johnson, a professional boxer, said in a news release.
The public is invited to attend the event from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, July 23, at 2900 W. Sixth Ave.
Speakers will include Johnson and Larry Williams, a technology teacher at the Pulaski County Special School District.
The motto is One race One world, the release said.
“I want to be that leader, that positive change in the world,” Johnson said.
