U.S. Sen. John Boozman, R-AR, will visit the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff on Tuesday, May 26.
The senator will tour the UAPB Aquaculture/Fisheries Center of Excellence and meet with UAPB Chancellor Laurence Alexander and other officials.
At 2:15 p.m. Boozman will meet at the administrative building before the tour.
The Aquaculture/Fisheries Center of Excellence was created in 1988. It is recognized as a nationwide leader in research, education and extension programs and is routinely sought out to help provide diagnostic services in order to keep fish healthy. Arkansas is one of the leading producers of aquaculture products.
