Pine Bluff resident Leah Dowdy, who was one of the first inside the Arkansas Blood Institute’s bloodmobile on Wednesday, gives blood as part of the Boots and Badges Blood Drive. The event, which took place outside the central fire station, allowed members of the public, as well as officers, firefighters and administrative staff members from the Pine Bluff Police Department and Fire and Emergency Services, to give back to the community with their donations.
