A boater education class will be held at the Delta Rivers Nature Center from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday, March 22. The course teaches the fundamentals of safe boating necessary to reduce loss of life, personal injury and property damage.
Anyone born after 1985 and of legal age to operate a motorboat or sailboat must have successfully completed an approved boating education course authorized by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission.
Boaters must carry proof of training while operating a motorboat or sailboat on Arkansas waters. Required registration can be done at https://www.register-ed.com
