Newly elected president Janelle Thomason of the Bluff City American Business Women’s Association opened the recent meeting by welcoming guest, Nancy Longacre.
The audit committee of Charlotte England and Barbara Horner presented the report approving all previous disbursements after which other various committees outlined the plans for the upcoming 2012-13 year. Edwina Riddle was recognized for being a volunteer at the recent Neighbor to Neighbor school supply project and noted that Patsy Stroud and Barbara Horner would be working at the White Hall Founder’s Day. It was noted that all ABWA members are encouraged to volunteer at community functions.
At the close of the meeting, Anna Merle Key won the dollar pot and Donna Davis won the door prize.
