The Blues by Budweiser concert series will feature the Delta Hurricanes at 8 p.m. April 4 at RJ’s Grill & Bar, 128 S. Main St.
The doors will open at 7 p.m. Port City Blues Society members are admitted free. Admission is $5 for others.
The concert series is sponsored by MK Distributors.
“Hailing from the heart of the South, the Delta Hurricanes are proving to be a force to be reckoned with in the world of blues rock,” according to a news release.
“Drawing inspiration from legends like the Allman Brothers and the three Kings — Albert, Freddy, and B.B. — as well as various other artists, this powerhouse collective brings a fusion of raw energy and soulful melodies to the stage.”

Member Joe Pitts was recently honored for his contributions to blues and blues rock with a banner at the Delta Rhythm & Bayous Blues Wellness Plaza in downtown Pine Bluff.
The Delta Hurricanes are Pitts on guitar/slide/vocals, Darrell Davis on guitar/vocals, Robbie English on bass/vocals, and Chris Moore on drums/percussion.
“With soulful guitar solos and a rhythm section that grooves, they deliver a sonic experience that is both electrifying and deeply moving. Port City Blues Society also hosts a free blues jam every Wednesday from 8-11 p.m. at RJ’s Grill & Bar where area musicians converge to play live blues.
