Roscoe Willis, president of The Port City Blues Society, recently announced that the Blues by Budweiser concert series will be back for a fourth season.
Working in collaboration with MK Distributors and RJ’s Grill & Bar, Port City Blues Society will again host live blues concerts. Each event will feature regional blues artists from throughout the Delta of Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisiana and beyond.
“Year four of Blues By Budweiser will be an enjoyable line-up of experienced blues acts that will once again reinforce the sound of the Delta in Pine Bluff,” said Willis. “These concerts will continue to raise awareness of the rich blues legacy and history of our community.”
Monthly concerts have been scheduled for March through November. Additional first Saturday concerts are anticipated and will be announced later, according to a news release.
“We never want to miss an opportunity to work alongside good people doing great things,” Nick Makris, president of MK Distributors, said. “We enjoy how Port City Blues Society brings this community together to honor our rich heritage of Blues music over a cold beer. That’s something we should all raise our glasses towards.”

Blues by Budweiser will be held at RJ’s Grill & Bar, 128 S. Main St., a casual, non-smoking establishment featuring a full-service bar and food menu. The doors open at 7 p.m. and concerts begin at 8 p.m.
Port City Blues Society members are admitted free. There is a $5 cover charge for non-members.
