The Simmons Bank Big Bass Bonanza of Arkansas will return to the Arkansas River Friday, June 29, through Sunday, July 1.
Arkansas’ largest amateur bass fishing tournament boasts a total of $100,000 in prize money, according to a news release.
Prizes will be awarded in the following categories: $50,000 for the largest fish overall; $10,000 for the largest fish overall in each of the remaining four pools; and place money for overall winners per pool, with $900 for second place, $700 for third and $400 for fourth.
The tournament will be contested in five pools at these sites: Pool #1: Alma – Clear Creek Park; Pool #2: Dardanelle State Park, Russellville side; Pool #3: North Little Rock Marina; Pool #4: Pine Bluff Regional Park; and Pool #5: Pendleton Bridge near Dumas.
