Bethel New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 2522 N. Pryce St., will celebrate the second pastoral anniversary of the Rev. and Mrs. Roosevelt Simmons Jr. starting with a luncheon for Shannon Simmons at noon Saturday, July 16, at the Promenade at Chenal at Little Rock. Sunday, July 17, at 11 a.m., services will feature guest speaker Brodes Perry of St. Mark Baptist Church at Little Rock. At 3 p.m., the guest speaker will be the Rev. Terry Brown, pastor of adult ministries at North Dallas Community Bible Fellowship.
