Gov. Mike Beebe on Thursday appointed 35 people to state boards and commissions.
Area residents appointed include:
• Terry Paul of Rison replaces Jimmy Shelby on the Public Health Advisory Board. The appointee serves at the will of the governor.
• Lydia Reynolds of Warren, reappointed to the Arkansas Home Inspector Registration Board. The appointment expires Jan. 26, 2014.
• Charles Rodgers Jr. of Rison, reappointed to the Arkansas Beef Council. The appointment expires March 30, 2015.
