Governor Mike Beebe made several state appointments Friday:
• Vivian Flowers of Pine Bluff was named to the Arkansas Service Commission, replacing Toni Shockey. Her appointment expires Jan. 14, 2015.
• Sam Elardo of Helena-West Helena replaces April Peer on the Delta Cultural Center Policy Advisory Board until Oct. 1.
• LeAnne Daniel of Glenwood was appointed Pike County District judge until Dec. 31. She replaces Dana Stone.
