First-year University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff baseball coach Logan Stout will hold a book signing at 10 a.m. on Nov. 6 in the Howard-Sykes Auditorium of the John Brown Watson Memorial Library.
Stout authored “The Grit Factor,” a book endorsed by Troy Aikman, author John Maxwell, the “sharks” from ABC’s “Shark Tank” and others.
According to a release from UAPB, Stout’s book reflects on his life experiences while serving as “a valuable resource for anyone seeking to enhance their leadership skills and personal growth.”
Stout will speak to attendees at the event, which is free, and provide signed copies of his book.
Stout’s playing career ended in his second year as a professional due to injury, after which he pivoted to coaching and scouting. Before coming to UAPB as its new baseball coach, he spent over 21 years scouting in MLB and coached at Dallas Baptist. He is also a business owner and keynote speaker.
