The Matriarchs In Ministry Recognition Banquet will honor several local women ministers at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 21, at the Watson Convocation Center, 2401 S. Main St.
Trena Lewis Coleman and Iris Warfield will sponsor the event to recognize these women who labor tirelessly in ministry to meet the needs and be of service to God’s people, according to a news release.
Honorees will be Sandy Blake, pastor of SONlite Ministries; Yolanda Pitts, apostle of Turning Point International Ministries; Debbie Warrior-Jackson, apostle of Christian Outreach Ministries; Emma Luckett, apostle of Evangelistic Outreach Church and Ministries; Tracey Shavers, prophetess of Tracey Shavers Ministry; Louise Lyas, pastor of Abundant Life Ministries; Shirley Sanders, bishop of Greater Deliverance Ministry; and Sheryl Banks, co-pastor of Canaan Christian Center.
