To honor victims and survivors of domestic violence, a balloon release will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 26, on the north steps of the Jefferson County Courthouse.
The Jefferson County Victim Witness Division of the prosecuting attorney’s office will sponsor the event in observance of October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
