For National Archaeology Month, the Arkansas Archaeological Survey will host an artifact identification day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 12, at the Delta Rivers Nature Center.
Although there will be no appraisals, buying or selling of artifacts at this event, residents are invited to bring any arrowheads, spear points, buttons, ceramics, metal tools or some other historic item. Experts will be on hand to discuss the artifacts and shed some light on the mystery surrounding them, a spokesman said.
