Pine Bluff Arsenal Recreation Services will open pools and offer swimming lessons to employees and the public.
Beginning the weekend of Memorial Day, May 26, pools will be open from noon to 7 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 1 to 6 p.m. Sundays.
Fees for the pools are:
• Active duty military – no charge
• Military Family member – Single-$80; Family-$100
Independent reporting for Pine Bluff & Jefferson County since 1879.
• Retired military – Single-$90; Family-$110
• Department of Defense employees and retired personnel – Single-$110; Family-$120
• Federal employees other than Department of Defense-Single-$130; Family-$150
• Community civilians and contractor – Single-$260; Family-$310
• Guest fees are $5 per person
• Swimming pool parties begin at $150. Reservations can be made at 540-3658.
Pool passes can be purchased at Recreation Services located at Bldg. 16-310. For information about passes, call 540-3778.
Swimming lessons will also be offered this summer for $80 per student. The sessions are open to arsenal employees as well as the community. Sessions are Mondays through Thursdays for two weeks. Day sessions are at 9 a.m., 9:35 a.m., 10:10 a.m., and 10:45 a.m. Session one during the day is June 9-19. Session two (June 9-19) is an evening session from 5 to 5:30 p.m. Session three (day) and session four (evening) is July 7-17. Session five (day) and session six (evening) is July 21-31.
