LaDarius Perkins: The Mississippi State running back was big on the ground and in the air during a 15-play, 75-yard opening possession. His 13-yard touchdown catch from Tyler Russell gave the Bulldogs a 7-0 lead.

Dennis Johnson: He was the recipient of Wilson’s second touchdown pass — a 7-yarder early in the quarter. Wilson completed 11 of 12 passes for 116 yards and two scores the first two drives.
Kaelon Kelleybrew: Filling in for injured return man Nate Holmes, Kelleybrew fumbled a punt that was recovered by the Bulldogs in Arkansas territory. Mississippi State converted the turnover into a field goal and added a touchdown on the next drive to take a 17-14 lead.
Will Hines: With Mississippi State driving deep in Razorbacks territory just before halftime, Hines forced an Arceto Clark fumble that was recovered at the Arkansas 7.

Highlights
Dak Prescott: Mississippi State’s back-up quarterback came into the game for a pair of short-yardage situations, including a 4-yard touchdown on fourth down to give the Bulldogs a 24-14 lead.
Turnovers: Arkansas committed three turnovers in the quarter. None was bigger than Jonathan Williams’ fumble on the Razorbacks 37 that set up a score two plays later.
Perkins: His second touchdown catch came following the Williams fumble. Like his catch in the first quarter, this one was on a wheel route against Arkansas freshman linebacker A.J. Turner. It gave the Bulldogs a 31-14 lead and complete control of the game.

Chad Bumphis: Mississippi State’s senior receiver continued his history of great games against the Razorbacks, hauling in a 22-yard touchdown after the Bulldogs recovered a Javontee Herndon fumble.
Russell: The pass to Bumphis was Russell’s fourth touchdown of the game. Russell finished with 272 passing yards, setting a single-season school record.
Nick Griffin: The Bulldogs capitalized on yet another turnover with their final score. Wilson was intercepted by Darius Slay, and Griffin ran 60 yards on the next play to extend the lead to 45-14.
