FAYETTEVILLE — The 17th ranked Arkansas baseball team swept a doubleheader from Stephen F. Austin on Tuesday, winning the first game, 8-3, and winning game two, 4-3.

The Arkansas (27-10) offense scored six runs in the first three innings in the first game.

Randall Fant earned the win as he threw three shutout innings and allowed just one hit while striking out four. Trent Daniel picked up his first save of the year after throwing four scoreless innings.

In the second game, Joe Serrano hit a walkoff single with the bases loaded and two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning for the win.

With the game tied at three, Jimmy Bosco led off the inning with a pinch-hit single. Jacob Morris sacrificed Bo Bigham, who ran for Bosco, over to second base.
