The Arkansas Rice Federation and USA Rice Federation will hold Farm Bill briefing sessions for producers, landowners, lenders and other industry members at 9 a.m. Tuesday, March 18, at No. 1 Airport Road South in McGehee.
USA Rice Vice President of Government Affairs Reece Langley, USA Rice senior manager of Government Affairs Lauren Echols and Arkansas Rice Federation Executive Director Ben Noble will explain key provisions of the new Farm Bill along with their specific implications for the U.S. rice industry in an effort to help growers make important decisions for 2014 and beyond.
