GILLETT — The recycling program at Arkansas Post National Memorial at Gillett has been discontinued and is no longer be available to the public.
“The action has been given a great deal of consideration, and was not taken lightly,” according to a news release. “Unfortunately, the cost of the program has increased and the park budget can no longer absorb the cost.”
According to a news release, the program’s closure is effective immediately.
Arkansas Post is located on Arkansas Highway 169, approximately seven miles south of Gillett. Karen Bradford is the park superintendent.
