LITTLE ROCK — The Democratic Party of Arkansas will host 55 delegates, two alternate delegates, and guests at numerous events during the 2012 Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C., according to a press release from the Arkansas Democratic Party.
Saturday evening events began with the Call the Hogs Welcome Party for Arkansas Delegates at Hampton Inn Lobby.
Tuesday at 8 a.m., the DPA Delegate Breakfast Caucus will be hosted by the Markham Group in honor of Attorney General Dustin McDaniel and Attorney General Beau Biden with special guest Attorney General Douglas F. Gansler of Maryland at The Sheraton Charlotte Airport Hotel.
At 5 p.m. Tuesday, there will be A Party Two Decades in the Making honoring President Bill Clinton, 20 years after he received the nomination for President. Special Guests include will.i.am, Ashley Judd and Adrian Grenier at Westin Charlotte Ballroom.
Wednesday at 8 a.m., the DPA Delegate Breakfast Caucus will be hosted by U.S. Sen. Mark Pryor with special guest Attorney General Beau Biden of Delaware at the Sheraton Charlotte Airport Hotel.
At 2 p.m. Wednesday, there will be an Arkansas Party honoring Gov. Mike Beebe at Bernardin’s Restaurant.
Thursday at 8 a.m., there will be a DPA Delegate Breakfast Caucus with Beebe and special guest Terry McAuliffe of Virgina at the Sheraton Charlotte Airport Hotel.
