Third, fourth and fifth-grade students recently took part in the Fun with Manners class taught by Von Talbot at the historic Mullis home at Pine Bluff.
The class marked the 30th year the courses in manners have been offered to students in the Pine Bluff area.
Self-confidence, conversation skills, telephone manners and introductions were some of the topics discussed at the first two sessions. The third session was a meal, during which table manners were learned and practiced. The final session was a tea party for the students and their mothers.
Members of the class and their guests included: April Roedell with Sylvia Curry; Kaylee and Coutney Tipton with Shelly Tipton; Claire Talbot with Wendy Talbot; Leighton Bennett with Carrie Bennett; and Rebecca Hargrove with Michelle Hargove.
Hayden Stone was a member of the class but was unable to attend the last session.
