Gov. Asa Hutchinson recently appointed several people to boards and commissions including the following from Southeast Arkansas:
• Ben Hammond of Sheridan to the State Fire Prevention Commission. The appointment expires July 18, 2020, and he replaces Pamela Richard.
• David Brazeale of Sparkman to the Ouachita River Commission. The appointment expires Sept. 1, 2024, and he replaces Vickey Selman.
• Doug Harton of Monticello to the Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission. The appointment expires Jan. 14, 2018, and he replaces Christian Ashcraft.
• John Dennis of Monticello to the Arkansas Geographic Information Systems Board. The appointment expires Aug. 1, 2021, and he replaces Margaret McMillan.
