Area Agency on Aging of Southeast Arkansas invites fishermen to the 20th annual Bill Sanders – Bo Piper Memorial Benefit Bass Tournament at 6 a.m. Saturday, April 1.
The tournament will be held at at the Regional Park access of the Arkansas River. All proceeds go to help Area Agency provide services to the elderly, including home care, transportation, senior centers and Meals on Wheels.
Boats will launch according to their paid registration numbers. The early entry fee is $110 per 2-person team, including the $500 Big Bass Pot, and two tickets to the King Kat Fish Fry following the weigh-in. Winners of the tournament will receive $2,500. The top 10 places are guaranteed cash and/or prizes, the spokesman said.
“If you’re a fisherman looking for some fun, a chance to win some money, or more importantly, the opportunity to aid a good cause, you need to be a part of the 20th annual Bill Sanders – Bo Piper Memorial Benefit Bass Tournament,” a spokesman said in a news release.
