The public is invited to join the House of Levi Inc. on Saturday, May 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Delta Rivers Nature Center in Regional Park during an anti-smoking community awareness day.
The agency will show what can happen if children choose to smoke at an early age. The community awareness day will include a demonstration of poisons found in tobacco along with a display showing diseases and health problems associated with tobacco.
This event is sponsored in part by a grant from the Minority Initiative Sub-Recipient Grant Office.
