The new Pine Bluff “Claws and Paws Animal Shelter” will hold a grand opening at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 12. The shelter is located at 901 N. Haverty St., in the Martin Luther King Jr. Park area.
“This is a tremendous achievement for the city of Pine Bluff, as the shelter has been outfitted with state of the art equipment and technology for the care and comfort of the stray and abandoned pets in the Pine Bluff City Region,” a spokesman said in a news release.
The Red Coats from the Chamber of Commerce perform the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
