The American Legion Post 232 in White Hall will put U.S. flags on the graves of all veterans buried in Methodist Cemetery for the Memorial Day weekend.
Members of the post will gather at 8 a.m. Saturday, May 27, to place the flags in remembrance of the veterans’ service to the country.
Members will return to the post building on the corner of Huckleberry and Nancy Street to do some repair work and painting.
At 10 a.m. Monday, May 29, veterans will be honored in a Memorial Day ceremony at the Veterans Monument at the White Hall Museum.
